How can I contact the company that provides the internet?

Click here in case you have questions about the installation of the internet and/or are experiencing issues with the internet.

Where can I download the instructions for the devices in the kitchen and room?

Below you can find the user manuals of the various applicances available in your room.

Cooker

Your apartment has a ceramic cooker (Zanussi ZES3921IBA). Make sure you buy the right pans for it as not all pans work on a ceramic cooker!

It is important to clean the hob after you used it. Your ceramic hob should be cleaned with Cerafix or HG cleaning agent. These product are easily available in the supermarket/building centers (e.g. Gamma, Praxis).

If you don’t clean the hob regularly and it becomes very dirty, clean it using a special glass scraper and an intensive hob cleaning agent for ceramic hobs. This latter option is not for daily use!

What do I do if I lose my key?

Each tenant will receive two blue tags when collecting the keys. These tags give you access to the following locations in Markt058:

  • the main entrance to Markt058,
  • the rear entrance next to Foodies & Goodies,
  • the front door to your own flat,
  • the doors in the corridor to your flat,
  • the door to the study room on the 2nd floor,
  • the access door to the bicycle park.

We strongly advise you to leave one of these tags with your parents or a friend, who also lives in Markt058 or nearby, so if you lock yourself out you can at least get into your flat with the spare tag. If you lose a tag, we will make a new one for you at your expense. We hope we won’t need to do so. If you lose a tag, please let us know as soon as possible by email. The cost of making a new tag is €50 per tag.

If you lose your tag outside office hours and can’t get into your flat, you can call the emergency number +31 (0)58-2100135. The lock of your door will then be drilled open . The costs will be at your expense and will be at least €250 excluding VAT and materials. If you want to avoid these extra costs you will have to find somewhere else to stay temporarily, because the manager will not turn up simply because you have lost your tag. So keep your tags and keys safe.

If the Salto lock develops a mechanical fault (lock won’t open, or keeps flashing red or does not respond to the tag), report this to the caretaker by email at markt058@wolfhuishvg.nl. If the defect occurs outside office hours, call the emergency number +31 (0)58-2100135 and a solution will be sought.

What do I do if I have locked myself out?

If you leave your tag in your flat and shut the door without activating the Salto button, your door will never be locked and you can get back into your flat. But if you have passed through the communicating door on the corridor, you won’t be able to get back to your flat. In that case you will have to wait for someone else on your corridor to let you in, or get your spare tag from the person you have left it with.

What is going on if my door lock shows a red flickering light after I opened my door?

It can happen that the Salto lock of your front door or a communicating door flashes red three times and then flashes green once before you can enter. This means that the battery in the Salto lock has insufficient charge and will be empty soon, so you will be unable to lock and unlock the door. As soon as you notice this, please send an email to markt058@wolfhvg.nl so that we can replace the battery. It does mean, however, that we will need to come into your room to replace the battery in the Salto button on your front door, and will arrange this with you beforehand.
